The Many Forms of Art is a short Bitsy game about the purpose of art and how anything can be interpreted as art as long as someone believes it to be. The project was fully developed by Rylan from start to finish, including sprite design, pacing, dialogue, and more.

About the Project:
This small adventure in storytelling was concepted when questioned how a designer can subvert player expectations. The idea that came to me was to pose a philosophical question to the player and show the many ways that each person can interpret that same question. At the end, I set to make sure that the players never saw the punchline coming, turning this philosophical question into a light-hearted joke. While I believe the question of "What is art?" is much deeper than what I've explored, the idea of this story is to remind players not take every question too seriously, lest the original purpose of the question be forgotten entirely.
